Development Role:
To take advantage of the many humorous sound clips from the Hollywood Pictures movie, the Grosse Pointe Blank web site features ambient streaming audio (using Shockwave) on almost every page. Using a linear navigation style, Shockwave animations such as a ringing cellular phone, incoming answering machine message and others were timed to lead the visitor from one page to the next as the details of the story of Martin Blank, a hitman who travels back to his 10-year high school reunion, are revealed.
Bio info, complete with character sound clips, "pops-up" as a separate window. Another highlight is the Shockwave Cassette Player featuring '80s music clips from the movie soundtrack. The Shockwave P.H.S. Reunion Matching Game uses a yearbook as the interface and invites players to try and match the stars' photos with their current occupation and quote.
